This should reduce the impact on the already busy teachers. The first task for anyone wanting to take up this role is to get a class list together, purely for that class’s reference, with parents names and contact details on. These lists are always useful for organising play dates and birthday parties. The Special Offers are all for shops where the PTA earns money should someone click on one of our specially created links and then buys something. By posting the special offers we are hoping to increase the number of people that click through and buy and thus increase the revenue the PTA recieve. Requires someone with their own computer and broadband Internet access. Full training will be given but you must be computer literate. This is mostly a cut and paste task and could take between 1/2 an hour to 1 hour a week. If we get multiple volunteers, we could set-up a rota/division of work. They do name labels and their iron on labels actually work. We recieve 20% of all email, phone, post and Internet orders. We are being sent 150 leaflets and labels. We need someone to stick the labels on the leaflets, ensure that the school has the leaflets in the new starter packs that parents recieve, order new leaflets when required etc and generally manage the easy2name scheme. Parents order the labels direct with easy2name and easy2name send the orders directly back to parents. So ensuring the school and Nursery have enough leaflets and label sticking is pretty much all there is to it. If you would like any more info please let me know. The Christmas Bazaar generates almost a third of the PTA fundraising profit. There are lots of different jobs avilable, from refreshments to toilet duty. None of the jobs are as scary as they sound. If we don't get the volunteers we won't be able to run extras like Hot Dogs, face painting etc.1
